Just a quick post to tide you over. They used to say MGM had more stars than there are in the heavens. Here’s a group photo from 1943 (the rest of the details are available on the photo page if you shrink the photo and select “back to image details”). You can see James Stewart on the left of the first row in his uniform. He would be flying combat missions over Germany soon. Katharine Hepburn is in her traditional pants in the middle of the first row…Spencer Tracy is almost right behind her. There are a few omissions, but have fun looking over the photo. It’s pretty cool.
